Arkansas High School Basketball - Emerson nips Spring Hill
November 14, 2023: Hope, AR 71801 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Emerson Pirates (Emerson, AR) and the host Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR), saw Emerson's basketball squad hold off Spring Hill by a count of 68-66.
With the victory, Emerson upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 16. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Columbia Christian won 71-62 in their recent league challenge against West Side Christian (El Dorado, AR)
Next up, the Bears play the Ouachita Warriors (Donaldson, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 16. Spring Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 61-49 non-league loss to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR).
