In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Melissa Cardinals basketball team scored a good 56-45 triumph over the Van Alstyne Panthers.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Keller Indians (Keller, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, November 16. Melissa will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 67-58 non-league loss to South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX).
