November 14, 2023: Staunton, VA 24402 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the N.C. School for the Deaf Bears (Morganton, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind Cardinals (Staunton, VA), by a margin of 50-14.
The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf (Wilson, NC). The Fighting Hornet go into the Freelance outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf was trounced by North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC), 68-22, in a non-league outing.
The Cardinals now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to N.C. School for the Deaf for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 12.
