Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) and the visiting Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES (Roanoke, VA), saw New Covenant's basketball squad overcome Roanoke Valley Christian by a tally of 54-37.

With the victory, New Covenant improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Lynchburg HomeSchool (Lynchburg, VA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 17. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Lynchburg HomeSchool won 70-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA)
