California High School Basketball - Torrance can't hold off Santa Fe
November 14, 2023: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 The Santa Fe Chiefs basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Torrance Tartars to 45 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chiefs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quartz Hill for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 15. Santa Fe will battle a Royals team coming off a 62-58 non-league win over El Modena (Orange, CA). The Royals record now stands at 1-1.
The Tartars (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against El Modena (Orange, CA). The Vanguards enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, El Modena was nudged by Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA), 62-58, in a non-league contest.
