Arkansas High School Basketball - Barton edges Central
November 14, 2023: West Helena, AR 72390 The Barton Bears (Lexa, AR) basketball nipped the host Central Cougars (West Helena, AR), 55-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Clarendon (Clarendon, AR). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Clarendon was tipped by DeWitt (DeWitt, AR), 62-43, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bald Knob for a 3A Region 6 test on Monday, December 4.
