Oklahoma High School Basketball - Battiest holds off Leflore
November 14, 2023: Leflore, OK 74942 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Battiest Panthers (Battiest, OK) and the host Leflore Savages (Leflore, OK), saw Battiest's basketball squad hold off Leflore by a tally of 47-43.
With the victory, Battiest improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Smithville (Smithville, OK) to confront the Braves in a McCurtain Six challenge on Thursday, November 16. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Smithville lost 38-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, OK)
Next up, the Savages confront the Howe Lions (Howe, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 17. Leflore will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
