The Greenwood Rangers basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Big Spring Steers to 28 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rangers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Merkel for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16. Greenwood will battle a Badgers team coming off a 49-40 non-league loss to Brownwood (Brownwood, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 1-1.

Next up, the Steers play the Crane Cranes (Crane, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Big Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
