The Childersburg Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Central of Coosa County Cougars to 14 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shelby County for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16. Childersburg will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 51-37 non-league loss to Jefferson Christian Academy (Birmingham, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
