Texas High School Basketball - Newcastle can't hold off Gorman
November 14, 2023: Newcastle, TX 76372 The Gorman Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Newcastle Bobcats to 44 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hico for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16. Gorman will battle a Tigers team coming off a 52-31 non-league loss to Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
The Bobcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Olney (Olney, TX). The Cubs come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record.
