Louisiana High School Basketball - Mamou holds off St. Edmund
November 14, 2023: Eunice, LA 70535 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA) and the host St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA), saw Mamou's basketball squad hold off St. Edmund by a tally of 42-39.
With the victory, Mamou improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Demons host LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA) to confront the Gators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 15. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. LaGrange won 63-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Westgate (New Iberia, LA)
Next up, the Fighting Blue Jays confront the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 16. St. Edmund will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 58-44 non-league win over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA).
