Arkansas High School Basketball - Strong tops Smackover
November 14, 2023: Smackover, AR 71762 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Strong Bulldogs (Strong, AR) and the host Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR), saw Strong's basketball squad knock off Smackover by a count of 46-28.
With the victory, Strong upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 17. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Parkers Chapel lost 63-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR)
Next up, the Buckaroos play the Hampton Bulldogs (Hampton, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 16. Smackover will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 65-45 non-league loss to Woodlawn (Rison, AR).
