Alabama High School Basketball - Daphne can't get by Saraland
November 14, 2024: Saraland, AL 36571 Saraland Spartans (Saraland, AL) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL), 44-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Saraland advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Spartans host Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL) to meet the Toros in a non-league match on Monday, November 18. The Toros enter the match with a record of 1-2. Spanish Fort won 84-41 in their recent non-league match against Bryant (Irvington, AL)
The Trojans now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murphy for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 19. Daphne will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 60-53 non-league win over McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
