Texas High School Basketball - Plano East holds off Lufkin
November 14, 2024: Lufkin, TX 75901 The Plano East Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Lufkin Panthers to 65 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Stony Point for a non-league game on Saturday, November 16. Plano East will confront a Tigers team coming off a 72-61 non-league win over Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Lufkin falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Keller (Keller, TX) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Friday, November 15.
