November 14, 2024: Medford, MA 02155 The Waltham Hawks football squad scored 23 points and limited the host Medford Mustangs to 6 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Arlington for a non-league test on Thursday, November 28. Waltham will meet a Spy Ponders squad coming off a 40-0 non-league loss to King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA). The Spy Ponders record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Medford drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Malden (Malden, MA) to meet the Golden Tornados in a Greater Boston test on Thursday, November 28. The Golden Tornados come into the test with a record of 2-7. Malden lost 27-20 in their recent non-league test against Lowell (Lowell, MA)
