The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) and the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX), observed Alief Taylor's basketball team edge Cypress Ranch by a score of 39-32.

The Lions (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jordan (Fulshear, TX). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Jordan edged The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX), 67-63, in a non-league challenge.
