Mercedes Tigers (Mercedes, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), 45-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mercedes upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to San Benito (San Benito, TX) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league match on Friday, November 15. The Greyhounds enter the match with a record of 6-3. San Benito lost 53-43 in their recent non-league match against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX)
