Texas High School Basketball - Emerson routs Grand Prairie
November 14, 2024: Grand Prairie, TX 75050 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Emerson Mavericks basketball team scored a big 51-20 triumph over the Grand Prairie Gophers.
The Mavericks (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Denison (Denison, TX). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Denison smashed Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX), 45-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gophers confront the Pinkston Vikings (Dallas, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 19. Grand Prairie will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 42-31 non-league loss to Nimitz (Irving, TX).
