With the victory, Merkel advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The Badgers travel to Greenwood (Midland, TX) to face the Rangers in a non-league match on Saturday, November 16. The Rangers enter the match with a record of 4-0. Greenwood won 52-37 in their recent non-league match against Ballinger (Ballinger, TX)
The Plowboys now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a non-league match on Friday, November 15. Roscoe will face a Lions squad coming off a 39-35 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
