In Friday's non-league test, the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) basketball squad defeated the visiting Katy Tigers (Katy, TX), by a final score of 68-51.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos (Missouri City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 18. Fort Bend Hightower will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Buffalos go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 47-37 non-league win over Wagner (San Antonio, TX).

With the loss, Katy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX) to clash with the Highlanders in a non-league test on Saturday, November 15. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 0-1. The Woodlands lost 58-54 in their recent non-league test against Klein Oak (Spring, TX)
