In Friday's non-league test, the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad trounced the host Mendez Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA), by a score of 69-33.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 18. Garfield will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 85-64 non-league loss to Arleta (Arleta, CA).
