The Goose Creek Memorial Patriots basketball team (Baytown, TX), was tipped 42-38 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Spring Lions (Spring, TX)

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Klein Forest (Houston, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Klein Forest edged Lamar (Houston, TX), 73-55, in a non-league challenge.
