In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Zavalla Eagles basketball team scored a close 49-45 win over the Harmony Science Academy Tigers.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against All Saints Episcopal (Tyler, TX). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Burkeville Mustangs (Burkeville, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 18. Harmony Science Academy will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
