The Covington Chargers walloped the visiting Sycamore War Eagles football team by a score of 56-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Dyersburg Trojans (Dyersburg, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 21. Covington will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 52-35 non-league win over Fairview (Fairview, TN).

With the defeat, Sycamore drops to 7-5 on the campaign.
