In Friday's non-league match, the host Eastwood Troopers football squad scored a good 45-30 triumph over the Frenship Tigers.

The Troopers (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Bobcat go into the non-league battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Byron Nelson prevailed over Mansfield (Mansfield, TX), 42-14, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now have a 4-7 record.
