The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) and the host Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL), witnessed Mountain Brook's football squad topple Fort Payne by a count of 35-14.

The Spartans (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 11-0 record. In their last battle, Muscle Shoals overcame Parker (Birmingham, AL), 17-14, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now have a 10-2 record.
