In Friday's league match, the host Hand Tigers football squad scored a good 49-18 triumph over the West Haven Blue Devils.

The Tigers (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Grizzlies come into the Southern Connecticut match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Guilford defeated Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT), 42-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils confront the North Haven Nighthawks (North Haven, CT) in a Southern Connecticut match, on Wednesday, November 26. West Haven will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Nighthawks come into the match with a 5-4 record after their 28-7 league win over Hamden (Hamden, CT).
