In Friday's non-league game, the Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS) football team overcame the host New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), by a tally of 36-28.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, November 21. Holmes County Central will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 7-3 record after their 35-28 non-league win over Lafayette (Oxford, MS).

With the defeat, New Hope drops to 7-4 on the campaign.
