The Martin County Gators felled the visiting Wake Prep Academy Guardians football team by a score of 28-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Gators meet the Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, November 21. Martin County will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 58-27 non-league win over Louisburg (Louisburg, NC).

With the defeat, Wake Prep Academy drops to 7-4 on the campaign.
