In Friday's non-league contest, the host Judson Rockets basketball team scored a good 54-34 win over the Burges Mustangs.

The Rockets (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Harker Heights notched a victory over Alexander (Laredo, TX), 68-52, in a non-league match.

The Mustangs now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Veterans Memorial for a non-league match on Saturday, November 15. Burges will face a Patriots squad coming off a 52-38 non-league loss to East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
