Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Ranch holds off Katy
November 14, 2025: Houston, TX 77433 The Cypress Ranch Mustangs basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Katy Tigers to 38 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nimitz for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 18. Cypress Ranch will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 52-36 non-league loss to College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Fort Bend Austin was nipped by Cypress Falls (Houston, TX), 49-22, in a non-league outing.
