Texas High School Basketball - Emerson bests Martins Mill
November 14, 2025: Ben Wheeler, TX 75754 The Emerson Mavericks basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Martins Mill Mustangs to 58 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mavericks now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKinney North for a non-league test on Saturday, November 15. Emerson will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 52-32 non-league loss to Guyer (Denton, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Fairfield (Fairfield, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Fairfield overcame Mabank (Mabank, TX), 51-42, in a non-league test.
