In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Second Baptist Eagles basketball team scored a close 42-39 triumph over the MacArthur Brahmas.

The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX). The Mules go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Alamo Heights nipped King (Kingsville, TX), 56-17, in a non-league match.

The Brahmas now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King for a non-league match on Saturday, November 15. MacArthur will face a Brahmas squad coming off a 56-17 non-league loss to Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 0-4.
