Virginia High School Basketball - Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy trounced by North Cross
November 14, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24018 North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) backers went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team smash the visiting Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys (Moneta, VA), 58-23 in a non-league contest.
The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA). The Tornadoes come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Timberlake Christian was trounced by Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA), 53-35, in a non-league match.
The Ospreys now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bassett for a Piedmont contest on Thursday, November 20.
