The Vela Sabercats basketball team scored 51 points and held the host San Benito Greyhounds to 35 in the Sabercats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Sabercats now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floresville for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 18. Vela will battle a Tigers team coming off a 62-29 non-league loss to Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.

The Greyhounds (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.
