North Carolina High School Basketball - Covenant Day overwhelms Sugar Creek

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), saw Covenant Day's basketball squad wallop Sugar Creek by a count of 59-37.

With the victory, Covenant Day upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Christ School (Arden, NC) to play the Greenies in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 18. The Greenies come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Christ School won 61-17 in their recent non-league challenge against University Christian (Hickory, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 17. Sugar Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 75-39 non-league loss to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC).
