Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) and the visiting Rogers Eagles (Rogers, TX), saw Gatesville's basketball squad wallop Rogers by a tally of 80-35.

With the victory, Gatesville improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hornets host Jarrell (Jarrell, TX) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 18. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
