Heritage Mountaineers (Maryville, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN), 65-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Heritage upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Anderson County (Clinton, TN) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Anderson County lost 72-54 in their recent non-league bout against Loudon (Loudon, TN)

Next up, the Chiefs play the William Blount Governors (Maryville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Sequoyah will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Governors come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 73-52 non-league win over Greenback (Greenback, TN).
