The New Covenant Gryphons basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Kenston Forest Kavaliers to 69 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Gryphons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spirit HomeSchool for a non-league contest on Monday, November 21. New Covenant will battle a Warhawks team coming off a 79-38 league loss to Loudoun County HomeSchool (Lovettsville, VA). The Warhawks record now stands at 0-1.

The Kavaliers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA). The Kings come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
