California High School Basketball - Charter Oak fells Whittier Christian

Charter Oak Chargers (Covina, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Whittier Christian Heralds (La Habra, CA), 40-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Charter Oak upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to South Hills (West Covina, CA) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 3-0. South Hills won 68-19 in their recent non-league bout against Azusa (Azusa, CA)

Next up, the Heralds play the Loara Saxons (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 17. Whittier Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Saxons go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 65-38 non-league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA).
