Illinois High School Basketball - Blue Island Eisenhower can't hold off Payton College Prep
November 15, 2023: Blue Island, IL 60406 The Payton College Prep Grizzlies basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals to 31 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evergreen Park for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16. Payton College Prep will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 53-33 non-league loss to Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Astros enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Shepard nudged Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL), 53-33, in a non-league contest.
