California High School Basketball - Walnut can't hold off Whitney
November 15, 2023: Walnut, CA 91789 The Whitney Wildcats basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host Walnut Mustangs to 30 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covina for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. Whitney will battle a Colts team coming off a 30-12 non-league loss to Chino (Chino, CA). The Colts record now stands at 0-1.
The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ayala (Chino Hills, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
