November 15, 2024: Burleson, TX 76028 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) and the visiting Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX), observed Burleson's basketball team knock off Lorena by a score of 50-36.
The Elks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, South Hills dropped by Lamar (Arlington, TX), 68-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Leopards battle the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 19. Lorena will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
