Perrin-Whitt Pirates (Perrin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX), 65-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Perrin-Whitt upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Pirates host Clyde (Clyde, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 19. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-1. Clyde won 58-28 in their recent non-league match against Millsap (Millsap, TX)

The Porcupines now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boyd for a non-league match on Wednesday, November 20. Springtown will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 54-41 non-league loss to Bowie (Bowie, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-2.
