Texas High School Basketball - Rio Grande City holds off Sharyland
November 15, 2024: Mission, TX 78572 The Rio Grande City Rattlers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Sharyland Rattlers to 55 in the Rattlers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rattlers now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Harlingen for a non-league game on Saturday, November 16. Rio Grande City will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 46-43 non-league win over McAllen (McAllen, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Sharyland falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rattlers host United South (Laredo, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 19. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 2-1. United South won 76-47 in their recent non-league game against Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX)
