St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA), 44-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Augustine advances its record to 7-4 on the season. The Purple Knights travel to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, November 22. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 7-3. St. Thomas More won 56-7 in their recent league battle against North Vermilion (Maurice, LA)

The Bears now own a 4-7 record.
