In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Round Rock Dragons basketball team scored a big 63-32 triumph over the Pflugerville Connally Cougars.

The Dragons (11-0) will now prepare for their contest against Vandegrift (Austin, TX). The Vipers go into the 6A Region IV District 25 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Vandegrift was trounced by Bowie (Austin, TX), 44-39, in a non-league contest.
