Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX), 78-72 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Alexander upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Harlandale (San Antonio, TX) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, November 21. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 18.
