Texas High School Basketball - Weslaco knocks off Taft

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX) and the host Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), observed Weslaco's basketball team overcome Taft by a margin of 65-55.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pace (Brownsville, TX). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 18. Taft will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 67-59 non-league loss to Madison (San Antonio, TX).
