Texas High School Basketball - Irving fells Castleberry
November 15, 2025: Irving, TX 75061 The Irving Tigers basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Castleberry Lions to 22 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league game on Saturday, November 15. Irving will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 64-29 non-league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Castleberry falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Benbrook (Benbrook, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 18. The Bobcats enter the outing with a record of 2-1. Benbrook lost 70-21 in their recent non-league outing against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX)
